A semi-automated solution utilising a racking system that is very similar to Drive In.
Pallets are moved in and out of the rack using a pallet shuttle / satellite. The shuttle runs up and down each channel on dedicated rails and will place the pallet in the next available position when putting away or bring the pallet to the front when dispatching.
These functions can be performed in a manual process where one pallet is handled at a time or in an automatic mode where you select and confirm the number of pallets to be handled.
The shuttles are moved via a forklift / reach truck and placed in the chosen channel. Each shuttle is controlled via handheld remote that the operator controls from within the forklift. Remotes can be sync’d with your Warehouse Management System (WMS) or operate independently.
The shuttles are powered with Lithium batteries offering a full shift worth of power and are easily swapped over or charged via a 240v power source.
– a perfect match for operations with a high throughput of pallets, an AS/RS system is fully automated from end to end. Whether pallets come into the system via production lines or containers, pallets are moved initially via a powered conveyor and go through a scanner to ensure they are square with no loose pallet wrap or objects.
Storage Retrieval Machine operates on a fixed rail with high density racking on either side. The storage can vary in depth depending on the product profile, so this is a great solution for maximising the storage capabilities of the facility. Being fully automated, each crane is independently controlled and operated and is powered by a busbar with is positioned at ground level.
The SRM can operate in temperatures ranging from -30 degC through to +55 degC and can handle multiple different product types such as pallets, containers, trays or rolls.
Is a mother shuttle and can move AutoSAT shuttles between channels. Using pallet elevators to lift the pallets between levels, the pallet is moved onto the AutoSAT shuttle which is located on the AutoSAT mover. The AutoSAT mover then proceeds up and down each aisle that has high density, deep storage channels on either side. Once in front of the desired channel, the pallet is moved into position via the AutoSAT shuttle. The system is fully automated and powered by a busbar located on each level.
The SuperCAP shuttle has a supercapacitor instead of a battery and receives its charge from the Mover each mission, so no need for battery removal and charging.
